The workshop has seen many changes over recent years and has now got a light and airy feel with a selection of small high quality machines perfectly suited to the one-off pieces I make. I am finding myself returning to a more hand tool orientated approach as the work itself has become smaller and more refined and technological developments in hand tools have made them that much more effective. This is a real delight as I feel more in touch with wood again and the whole.

I am hoping to start developing a range of product pieces for sale on the website and at exhibitions.

This will focus on a low tech batch making approach. It will be a highly ecologically efficient project and I look forward to posting images of prototypes as they develop. A folding stool may be the first piece.
